Prior to working at Durham Sport and Wellness, she was employed in different multidisciplinary clinics where she helped rehabilitate patients back to pre-injury state. A graduate of Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2015, here is where she had a new-found interest in the human body and musculoskeletal presentations after receiving an extensive education and practical experience with patients of varying abilities and conditions / pathologies. Soon after graduating, she had her daughter which then peaked her interest more in pregnancy and infant massage. Chanté has specialties working with pre- and post-natal pregnancy patients; including those deemed high risk, individuals with CNS conditions like stroke, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis to name a few, and has worked in the lung unit of the Toronto General Hospital aiding patients with lobectomies to ones with COPD, asthma and emphysema.
In addition to her being an RMT, Chanté began her post-secondary education in Kinesiology at the University of Windsor where she graduated with Honours and received a Bachelors degree of Human Kinetics (BHK) in 2013. From her schooling, she has a comprehensive knowledge of human kinetics, anatomy and physiology, allowing her the ability to utilize this information to cater to the needs of the patients she treats. She uses specialized soft tissue and joint techniques to address a range of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular issues including but not limited to: stress, tension, repetitive strain, low back pain, limited range of motion, whiplash, TMJ, and headaches.
As an athletic individual growing up, Chanté was always interested in dance, sports and anything involved with human movement. In her spare time, you can find her reading, chasing around her highly active daughter and trying to get her into being an active, energetic and avid sports minded person.

Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Kelly offers Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage (BLDM) which is specialized massage technique that stimulates the lymphatic system to promote the elimination of toxins, reduce fluid retention, and enhance circulation. Unlike traditional lymphatic drainage, the Brazilian method is known for its faster, more rhythmic, and sculpting techniques, often combining deep and superficial massage strokes to create a visible slimming and toning effect, all while focusing on your overall well-being.
It is performed with her hands using light to medium pressure, pumping motions, and sweeping strokes, focusing on areas prone to fluid retention, such as the legs, abdomen, and arms.
The Benefits of BLDM:
Reduces Water Retention – Helps flush out excess fluids and toxins, reducing ‘puffiness’ and swelling.
Enhances Circulation – Improves blood flow, oxygenating tissues and promoting healthier skin.
Contours & Tones the Body – Can create a temporary slimming effect by reducing bloating and defining muscles.
Boosts the Immune System – Supports lymphatic function, helping the body fight infections and illnesses.
Relieves Bloating & Digestive Discomfort – Stimulates the digestive system, aiding in detoxification and gut health.
Supports Post-Surgical Recovery – Often recommended after cosmetic surgeries (such as liposuction) to reduce swelling and speed up healing.
Improves Relaxation & Well-being – Encourages a sense of relaxation while relieving tension and fatigue.
